VHF Field Day, one of the main VHF contests in the year, is a regular event in our calendar and one that many members both enjoy and participate in. This year was to be no exception and at almost 15 minutes after the duly appointed time Ken G4XCB, Andy G7KNA, Mark M0SKV, Norman M7BBZ and Greg MW7BUF met at the identified site on Dundry.

Despite poor weather with squally rain making outdoor antenna construction undesirable the stations were ready to go on air before the contest start time arrived and all looked good.

Pictures from the event are available in our Flickr Album, as are many of our past events. Some of these images have been used in our “After Action Report” on the static part of the website, so to read more about our operation please click here.
