British Science Week 2023
Members of South Bristol ARC will be joining with the RSGB to support British Science Week 2023 demonstrating different facets of Amateur (Ham) Radio to pupils of Southville Primary School on 17 March 2023.
The theme of this years British Science Week is Connections. Amateur Radio has been connecting people locally, nationally and internationally through the “magic” of radio for over a century and remains a relevant and enthralling hobby for many thousands of people throughout the United Kingdom and even more around the World.
Throughout the day members of South Bristol ARC and the RSGB will be giving formal and informal presentations describing some of the theory of Amateur Radio and transmitting and receiving signals.
